Downtown Knoxville encourages citizens to VOTE

If you are a registered voter in the City of Knoxville, you are eligible to vote in the Knoxville General Election, either during the early voting period or on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

Five of the nine Knoxville City Council seats are open.  You may vote for one person from each district, regardless of where you live within the city.

VOTE EARLY from October 14 - 29, 2009
Oct 14-22 open 10am - 2pm
Oct 23-29 open 10am - 7pm
(closed on Sundays)

Any qualified City of Knoxville voter can vote early at any of these locations:
Downtown at the Knox County Courthouse, 1st Floor , 300 Main Street
Five Points Village Plaza Shopping Center, 2364 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue
New Harvest Park, 4775 New Harvest lane near Knoxville Center Mall
235 W. Young High Pike next to Wood Realtors
Downtown West Shopping Center, 1645 Downtown West Blvd, Suite 29

Election Day:  November 3, 2009
8am - 8pm at the polling location for your precinct

Remember to bring your Voter Registration Card or some form of identification with you when you vote.
