Get Out & Play at Outdoor Knoxfest

The Outdoor Knoxville Adventure Center will be the hub for outdoor activities on August 24-26 as it hosts Outdoor KnoxFest. On Saturday, Aug 25th, the Adventure Center and the waterfront will be brimming with outdoor activities. Test your skills on the climbing wall and slack lines; enjoy a free paddle or bike ride; add your artwork to the chalk wall; and enjoy geocaching, snag golf, badminton, disc golf, hula hoops and jump ropes. In the theater, a round of outdoor films will play all day. Saturday and Sunday, Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness will be the field for the Adventure Race, Trail Race and Mountain Bike Time Trial. Other activities include The Pickel 40-mile Road Ride, a History Hike around Ft. Dickerson and the Legacy Leisurely Bike Ride. It’s a weekend where everyone can Get Out & Play.
