Knoxville Marathon to run through downtown

The sixth annual Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is a celebration of fitness and running set for this weekend, March 27-28, and including nearly 6,000 runners of all ages covering distances from a one-mile fun run for children to the full marathon.

Most of the races will travel through downtown Knoxville, as well as several other Knoxville neighborhoods before ending in Neyland Stadium.

The weekend includes a day-long health and fitness expo and the Covenant Kids Run on Saturday, March 27, followed by the 5K, marathon relay, half-marathon and a full marathon races on Sunday.
