Now Hiring: CBID Marketing Coordinator
Date: 07/30/2010The Marketing Coordinator provides support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the development, implementation, and follow-up of marketing initiatives in support of identified strategic plans. The coordinator is primarily responsible for detailed project management, complete marketing collateral oversight, research/planning/analysis, and content management of web information.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and develops all direct marketing activities, including electronic newsletter, map, brochure, direct mail, annual report, and others.
Develop and coordinate local or regional advertising campaigns, in accordance with CBID strategic plans.
Content management of http://www.downtownknoxville.org to include frequent updates on news, events, and general information.
Content management and strategic planning for CBID’s social media outlets.
Coordinating public relations outreach as needed.
Assisting with development, delivery and assessment of organizational branding.
Oversee volunteer marketing committee and event sponsorship review.
Designing, measuring, and monitoring marketing programs’ effectiveness and results.
Building and developing partnerships and serving as the communication hub between the CBID and downtown stakeholders, property owners and businesses.
Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the responsibilities and functions of the office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
Minimum three years experience coordinating project work in a marketing-related area.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, complete and evaluate effectiveness of projects. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with creative and analytical problem solving capabilities.
Demonstrated web site content management and basic graphic design experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
