Movies on Market Square Kicks off Sept. 10

Bring your lawn chair and blanket and snuggle up on Market Square for a free outdoor movie presented by Knox County Library every Friday night from September 10 - October 15. 

Based on a public vote, the movies range from children’s to adventure films, with some classic blockbusters in between. All films are PG-13 or less, but parents are encouraged to read reviews to make sure the films are good for their families.

The Library’s outdoor movie series begins its seventh season on Friday, September 10. The movies kick off at dusk, around 8 p.m., and will end before 10 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The movie schedule is as follows:
September 10 - Iron Man
September 17 - Charlotte’s Web (2006)
September 24 - Cats & Dogs
October 1 - Pretty in Pink
October 8 - The Spy Next Door
October 15 - North by Northwest
