Swing Into Spring Shopping | Downtown Knoxville

Are you spring cleaning? We are too, and more than anything, we want our new purchases to have a purpose. That's one reason we love the Downtown spots that help make our city so unique. While supporting local, you can feel proud of what you buy.

Browse a few of our favorite items to freshen up your home and wardrobe.

A bright yellow leather bag to match the sunshine! Honeymouth's leather goods are handmade by owner Georgia Vogel and some take about 45 hours to stitch. Talk about made with love! They also sell local artist-made wares with a mission to empower people by spreading kindness and encouraging self-love. 10% of every purchase is donated to organizations listed on their site. These beautiful items are made to last, so you can feel good about your purchase!

Rala is known for what their name stands for: Regional & Local Artisans. All of their super creative products have been hand-picked by owner Nanci Solomon and her team. From adorable spring puzzles and games to one-of-a-kind ceramics and home décor, they are the most unique items you'll find anywhere. A trip to Rala in the Old City or to their online store, is a trip to fun times!

ACF Jewelry

Keep those spirits high in the sky with these adorable (and really, aren't they the cutest things you've ever seen?) marshmallow rainbow earrings made by ACF Jewelry's creative owner Carolina Farris. These light-weight earrings might bring you a little luck, but no, you can't eat them! They are coated and preserved in resin, then adorned with a handmade, nickel free ear hook. A little bit nostalgic, a lot of whimsy, and most definitely trend-setting.

Petro's Chili & Chips

Fill your home with the sweet, citrusy aroma of an orange-scented candle inspired by a favorite Downtown beverage. You read that right — Petro's Chili & Chips has brewed up their famous Hint-of-Orange®️ Iced Tea in candle form! If you had a "love at first bite" moment when you ate a Petro©, or a "love at first sip" moment when you drank their tea, you'll absolutely have a "love at first smell" moment with this candle.

OP Jenkins Furniture & Design

OP Jenkins is a family-run furniture and design company that's been a Downtown Knoxville landmark since 1907, when Oliver Perry Jenkins opened and built his furniture business on honesty, hard work, and family values. Generations later, Terry and Meg Troutman still keep it going strong, and the team there loves helping you make your house feel like a home. As you explore their four floors of unique and stylish furniture (and their beautiful Instagram account), you'll find springtime accessories that will add comfort and style to your home.

Knoxville Soap Candle & Gifts

Another wonderful place to shop to bring joy into your home is Knoxville Soap Candle & Gifts. We love the selection of locally hand-painted and handmade signs framed with reclaimed wood! Bring a breath of fresh air with this "Just Breathe" sign. Other items handpicked by owner Jodi Bowlin include floral paper weights, floral frog soap dishes, and crackled glass soap dispensers. Visit their Instagram for more photos — and shop in-store on Gay Street. And yes, thanks to all the candles, it does smell amazing in there.

Earth To Old City

Earth to Old City's spring collection is just adorable with graduation dresses, light-weight hoodies, heart-shaped sunglasses and so much more in-store! Visit their Market Square location to browse and try on clothes, or find your favorite online. And of course, along with their cute outfits and accessories, they carry unique gifts they're known for, like this funky pink flamingo umbrella to chase the rain away.

Tree & Vine

Spring means one thing: grilling and chilling! Tree & Vine has everything you need for a backyard get-together with grill supplies, balsamics to top your chicken and salads, and our favorite to top it off — this crazy cute Backyard Bug Cake Pan. This easy-release pan produces eight fun butterfly, dragonfly, ladybugs, and bee-shaped cakes. You'll never be so happy to see (and decorate) bugs!

Bliss & Tori Mason Shoes' collection of dresses and rompers paired with their sandals and wedges are perfect for Easter, graduation, and other springtime activities. No matter your style, there's a dress waiting for you, from casual comfort, boho chic, fashion-forward and simple elegance. Shop in-store on Gay Street or at their extensive online store. And did you know? They have the best items for kids, like plush bunnies, bees, sloths, and more!

Fizz is known for their own artisan jewelry line, plus unique clothing for all ages and sizes. And their spring collection is so fun! From tie dyes and retro shades to cute tanks and springy shawls, there's so many one-of-a-kind outfits to choose from. Swing by their Market Square location or shop online.

Mast General Store

Have you heard the buzz at Mast General Store? These un-bee-lievably cute seasonal items are an ode to the hardest working creatures during spring — the bees! From note cards to door mats to honeycomb and kitchen towels, they've got it all! Dress up your kitchen décor with a little bit of fun.

Rick Terry Jewelry Design

Paper clip chains are one of the hottest jewelry trends right now at Rick Terry Jewelry. They are elegant in their stylish simplicity and great for graduation gifts. Other items to dress up your spring accessories are their quatrefoil rings and sweet pendants.

William & Wylie Custom Menswear

Guys, we didn't forget about you! Visit William & Wylie on Clinch Ave, where owners Bryce and Parker will help you look your best. They just released their collection of spring ties, and from this sneak peek photo, the florals and colors are subtle, trendy, and sharp! Paired with their new drawstring chinos, you might become the talk of the town.

Love Local. Support Small.

Downtown local stores offer online shopping with delivery and/or curbside pick-up, so you don't have to sacrifice local if you want to shop from home. Shopping in-store is also safe with easy walkability, wide sidewalks, and required masks.
