Ice Skating in Market Square

Market Square transforms into a dreamy, wintery scene with an open-air ice rink nestled under twinkling lights from November 29 to January 5. Day and night, seven days a week, adults and children can skate at the rink in the middle of Market Square, where you’ll find cheery music, 160,000 pounds of ice, and an opportunity for the best people watching around! Themed ice-skating nights take the fun to the next level. See below for more details!

Special Events
Monday: Skate with the Knoxville Ice Bears and Chilly. 6pm-8pm, Dec 2, 9, and 30. $2 off admission with an Ice Bears ticket stub.
Tuesday: Decade Night. Skate to your favorite holiday tunes and classic hits from each decade. Dec 3–50s and 60s, Dec 10–70s, Dec 17–80s and 90s, Dec 24-all Christmas, Dec 31–hits from all decades.
Wednesday: Christmas Sweater Night. $1 off admission when you wear a Christmas sweater. Most festive skater wins a prize!
Thursday: College Night. $2 off admission with a College ID.
Friday-Saturday: Skate to disco lights and DJ music provided by Knox Vegas DJ.
Sunday: Family Fun Day.
