Discover Some Devilish Delights

Food & Drink Shop Fall

Darken the doors of our Downtown Knoxville shops, bars, and restaurants and you’ll find a treasure trove of Halloween treats and specials to enjoy for yourself or share with the ghosts and goblins you love.

Check back as we continue to add details.

Bistro at the Bijou

Eat, drink, and be scary at Bistro at the Bijou, where they have some of the best cocktails that are making us feel very Halloween-ish! One of the most popular is the Caramel Apple Martini with caramel vodka and apple cider, as well as the Corpse Reviver with white wine, orange-flavored liqueur, lemon juice, and absinthe rinse. Others not to be missed are the Dark & Stormy and Autumn Mule, both with a ginger beer base.

Brother Werewolf

Something wicked is brewing in the Old City as Brother Wolf transforms into Brother Werewolf bringing us intoxicating libations from October 7-31. Send your inner beast howling into the night with a choice of two elixirs: Trick (mystery vodka shot) or Treat, and spine-tingling cocktails like Dracula's Kiss made with tequila, montenegro, black cherry fig syrup, espresso, and mole bitters; the bright blue Hocus Pocus made with Mezcal, Blue Curaçao, Bianco Vermouth and lemon juice; the delicious frozen Zombie, and more!

Café 4

Café 4's patio is the best place to sip on this margarita with a sinister twist! Feast on the Blood Orange Margarita while overlooking Market Square's ghastly ghosts haunting the Grove overhead.

Citifid-O

Your pets can get in on the Halloween excitement too! Citifid-O has lots of plush toys and edible treats for dogs and cats. Naturally, they're going to like all of them, but human favorites are these adorable pumpkins stuffed with a couple of cute bats! Plus they have gravestones, Halloween donuts, candy corn, and lots of costumes that will make your pet the life of the party.

Coffee & Chocolate

The kids can keep their Halloween candy this year, because the adults are going to Coffee & Chocolate! Along with their original chocolates, they have three seasonal treats. The Mocha Mocchiato Madness is a hand-painted dark chocolate shell filled with mocha ganache. Scarily delicious! The Mischievous Maple Walnut is infused with maple ganache and crunchy walnuts. And the Autumn Apple Cinnamon might just be our favorite filled with apple ganache and cinnamon.

Earth To Old City

Earth to Old City is crawling with spooky Halloween decorations for home and body! They have silly pumpkins, creepy skeletons, jeweled spiders and more. Plus, Halloween-themed soaps, beaded earrings, hanging bats, and moon gazing witches are haunting the entire store! Just the right amount of cute and creepy.

Fat Tuesday

Fat Tuesday's world-famous daiquiris hail from the raucous city of New Orleans, known for its hauntings of ghosts, spirits, and vampires. This Halloween, the Gay Street store is casting a spell on us all with Swamp Water, Vampire Kiss, Monster Mash, and Spellbound.

Cocktails at The French Market

There's no other way to say it ... The French Market Creperie has some scary good cocktails for the 21+ crowd. The Bloody Zombie, a spicy Bloody Mary with a pickled egg eyeball; Sweeney Todd's Dark & Stormy with spicy rum, ginger ale and ginger syrup; the Devil's Sour with bourbon, spiced cider and fresh orange juice; the Wicked Hot Fireball with spiced cider, cinnamon, and a cinnamon sugar rim; and the Purple Bat with Empress blue gin, sprite, and jelly beans. Kids don't have all the fun.

The French Market Crepes

No tricks, all sweets here! The French Market Creperie has created an entire menu of Wicked Cool crepes, like the Creepy Caramel with Nutella and Butterfingers (don't steal your kid's candy; just order this), the Booberry Blueberry with marshmallows, the Pumpkin Spice Cream, and the Creep Up – adding gummy worms to a sweet crepe – the kids will love it!

Frothy Monkey

You're in for some wicked cool specials at Frothy Monkey starting with the White Zombie, a dark take on the White Russian made with spiced rum, vodka, cold brew, and cherry mocha syrup. Another treat from the bar is the Apple Spice Mimosa with house-made chai apple cider and bubbles on tap! On the coffee side, check out S'more Than a Feeling topped with a roasted marshmallow and Milk's Favorite Coffee inspired by Oreos!

Ham'n Goodys

Be the best house on the block by passing out these Halloween-themed Ham'n Goodys lemon cookies! Pre-order a dozen or more by calling 865-839-2215 to order from the Gay Street store where they'll be available from Oct 25-31. The delicious taste of the familiar lemon cookie with a fun twist everyone is sure to love!

Jig & Reel

Jig & Reel kicks off the spooky season with two signature drinks, including one for kids! First, they'll be serving the mocktail Zombie Juice topped with gummy worms, and an adult-friendly whiskey sour Monster Mash cocktail. Plus, a Halloween dessert we all know and love: Dirt & Worms!

K Brew Coffee & Bagel

The eerie chill in the air is matched only by K Brew's latest addition to their coffee menu, a Toasted Spice Cold Brew. It's a delicious blend of fall-flavored cinnamon dolce syrup, white chocolate, Cruze Farm milk, and cold brew. A step up from witches brew, we think!

Kilwins

Kilwins can wrap up any of their yummy sweets, brittles, candied apples, and chocolate-covered treats in a jack-o-lantern basket. It makes a great gift to take to a party, or you can use as a table centerpiece. Halloween will be extra sweet with one of these in hand!

It's a delightful cocktail from Merchants of Beer in the Old City! And, they always have exceptional seasonal brews on tap and in their Grab-N-Go Market.

Nama

In honor of spooky season, meet the Corpse Reviver #135. Originally created with the chief purpose of "rousing the drinker from the dead," this wicked cocktail of Roku gin, grand marnier, fuki plum wine, and absinthe is Nama Sushi's take on the Corpse Reviver #2, which came on the scene in the 1930. Beware!

Old City MedSpa

For the wicked month of October, Old City MedSpa has scared up some specials and will be offering discounts on Vampire Facials and Vampire Hair Restorations.

The Phoenix Pharmacy & Fountain

If you're craving ice cream, you're in for an extra sweet treat, because The Phoenix Pharmacy & Fountain has a whole menu of Halloween-themed sundaes (we've even heard they're leaning hard into a Stranger Things theme). Pictured here is Sweater Weather with a house-made Snickerdoodle Cookie, Pumpkin Ice Cream, Real Butterscotch, Fresh Whip, Toasted Pecans, and a little Smoked Nib Brittle!

PostModern Spirits

Boozy, bold, and a little wicked: PostModern Spirits' seasonal slushie will bring the dead back to life. Every piece is handmade in the Old City. Plus they'll have pumpkin mugs and chalices to add to your handmade Halloween collection.

Proper Popcorn

Creepy crawl your way over to The Tomato Head on Market Square where the fall tradition of bobbing for apples just leveled up to a delicious fall-inspired brunch cocktail! The Apple Mimosa has sparkling wine, apple juice, a rum-based liqueur, and a brown sugar rim.

Tree & Vine

Calling all bakers! You have to have this Skull Baking Pan for all your Halloween sweets and treats. Taking a bite out of a skull-shaped cake is just creepy ... and fun too! Plus, get creative with your recipes using Tree & Vine's Blood Orange EVOO, which goes great with a brownie mix.
